Homework Hero does not collect information from its users apart from information publicly posted on teacher assignment pages and information necessary to carry out transactions with our clients. We do not provide any information about individual users to any third party, nor do we use any information we obtain for the purpose of marketing products to you. We do not place any software or cookies on users' machines. We do, however, reserve the right to use data related to our transactions with clients for academic research purposes. In accord with the principles described earlier, any academic research will not reveal any individual information nor will it be used for any marketing purpose.

E-mail addresses posted on a teacher assignment page are viewable by the public, but normally do not attract much unsolicited e-mail (teacher pages are dynamically generated from a database that is not subject to easy mechanized search by spammers). It is nevertheless be a good idea to obtain and use a distinct e-mail address (for example, from Yahoo or Hotmail) for posting to your assignment page. We do not provide lists of our users' e-mail addresses to anyone.

When a school signs up for our service, we do normally add the school site manager to our weekly "News and Reminder" mailing list. Managers may unsubscribe from that list at any time. Teachers, students, and parents may subscribe to that list and may later unsubscribe at any time.
