St. Mary's School keatingt@smsrockville.org We're onto some new projects!
7th grade is working on a project called "Riverbed Fossils". We need a lot of different kinds of leaves. They are pressed into the clay to make a fossil like image.

| 6th Grade |
6th grade is painting in the style of Georgia O'Keeffe. We've read about her. Ask your sixth graders about Georgia. 5th grade is finishing up their Radial Designs. We will start to study about Native American life. Our next project is to make a Dream Catcher. |
| 4th Grade |
Observe our Fall skies with the changing of the colors all around us. The birds are starting to migrate. Check out the flocks of birds in their different formations.The 4th graders have been painting the beautiful Autumn sky. The next step is do draw and print a flock of birds. I love this project! If any one has any Styrofoam trays send them into the Art room. |
| 3rd Grade | 3rd grade is designing their own postal stamps. There are many incredibly creative 3rd graders. That is for sure! |
| 2nd Grade | 2nd grade are almost finished making their own prayer books. They have written their own prayers. They will be displayed together in the hallway. |
| 1st Grade | Ask your 1st graders what the Primary colors and Secondary colors are. They are drawing pictures with shapes and lines. |
