DEAR PARENTS AND STUDENTS: WELCOME TO THE 6th GRADE! We are about to begin an exciting year together. Please check here regularly for important announcements and reminders throughout the year, as well as nightly homework assignments. I am encouraging you to use the following website for grammar, vocabulary and other subject practice. Go to www.freerice.com, a United Nations sponsored site. For every correct answer, 20 grains of rice are donated to those less fortunate through the U.N. Food Program. Have fun while you learn! Bring in your totals and we will keep track in class. Here are some other websites that will provide you with the opportunity to sharpen your skills. Both sites are recommended by the American Library Association:
