Significa que con cualquier tiempo verbal del modo indicativo podemos expresar hechos que son verdaderos o reales. Pueden ser afirmativos, negativos o una pregunta; el hecho es que son reales. No debemos confundirnos con los tiempos verbales porque dentro del modo indicativo tenemos formas de expresar los hechos en el presente, pasado o futuro e incluso de una forma condicional simplemente cambiando el tiempo verbal. 2. El modo subjuntivo es el modo irreal. Se usa para expresar hechos que no son verdaderos, puede que sean hipótesis, deseos, predicciones, etc. Dentro del modo subjuntivo también distinguimos entre el presente, el pasado y el futuro. 3. El modo imperativo es el modo para dar órdenes o mandatos. Nos dirigimos directamente a la persona que está escuchándonos con el modo imperativo. Sólo tiene un tiempo verbal y es el presente simple.
