Homework Hero Help (Version 1.0)

Most features are unchanged, but version 2.0 user's should note the following differences:

Automatic User ID/Password Retrieval: In Homework Hero version 2.0, users who have posted an e-mail address on their assignment page can automatically retrieve lost or forgotten passwords. To do so, from your school's front page, click "Teacher/Manager Updates." Then choose "Send Me My Password." In the form,  type in your e-mail address and click submit. ID and password information for your assignment pages (all pages associated with that e-mail address) will be e-mailed to you.

Image Uploads: Deluxe Plan users can now upload images from their own computer to their assignment pages. To do so, from your school's front page, click "Teacher/Manager Updates." Then choose ""Update an Assignment Page." Enter your user id and passsword, and select the option to upload an image. In the next screen, click the browse button and navigate to select the file on your computer to upload to Homework Hero. Highlight the selected file and click OK. Then click the "Upload Image" button.

As with the original version of Homework Hero, it is still possible to display an image posted elsewhere on the web by filling in the "URL to any Web Image" text entry box.

Custom HTML: Generally HTML tags can be used in any text entry box when a user postsassignments. However, Homework Hero 2.0 has a new text entry box labelled "Custom HTML." This entry is useful for larger blocks of HTML code copied from other sources (for example, code for counters). Unlike other items on the form, Homework Hero does NOT insert blank lines when it encounters them in your code for this item. Warning: inserting large blocks of HTML code may still occasionally produce unpredictable results, but you you might as well give it a try!

Quotation Marks in HTML: In the original version of Homework Hero, quotation marks coulc not be used in the Course Title items on the form. This limitation has been fixed in Homework Hero 2.0.
