What is the Deluxe Plan?

If your school subscribes to the Deluxe plan, this is what you get:

We customize your school's Homework Hero pages with school-specific graphics, colors, fonts, and page headers. We can give your assignment pages a look that blends with your school's web page design and/or makes use of your logos, mascots, and school colors. See 

All assignment pages will provide links back to your school web site. This will attract and retain more visitors for your own school site.

Store images with Homework Hero. Many teachers like to post an image with their page. We will permit you to store one image per teacher directly on our server. If you wish to store images, you will need to e-mail digitized images to us.

Non-commercial option. Deluxe and standard plan pages normally contain some advertising. We do offer a non-commercial version of the service, described on our products and services page. The non-commercial option is available under both standard and Deluxe Plans. Scroll down or click here for pricing information.

Can I See an Example of the Deluxe Plan?

Sure. We've recently added two new Deluxe sites that illustrate how closely we can integrate Homework Hero with your school web site. Why Get the Deluxe Plan?

There are plenty of good reasons to upgrade. 

First, the appearance of your pages is important. A school's web page is now a key way for a school to make itself known to the public. For private schools, it is important in marketing, for public schools in public relations. The Deluxe plan permits your homework pages to blend almost seamlessly with your school web page, for a more attractive and more functional presentation to your clients. Links from Homework Hero back to your school's page help you to retain and attract visitors. Most visitors to your site will never notice that they have left your site for ours.

Second, through sponsorships (see below), you can pay for your upgrade and earn additional revenue for your school fundraising unit.

Third, I am convinced that members of the Deluxe plan take a more active interest in making a site work. For example, if you recruit sponsors, this will indirectly encourage awareness and support from parents.

Finally, the Deluxe plan is inexpensive. Nevertheless, we do need your financial support to continue to provide our service. See below for pricing details.

How Much Does It Cost?

The Deluxe Plan costs your school $39.95 per year.  This is roughly what your supply room spends for one black ink cartridge and a package of printer paper. Or, if you school has 500 students, this comes to a nickel per student per year.

If you also wish to add the non-commercial option (removing all advertising from your pages) this costs an additional $59.95 per year.

Better yet, you can recruit a local sponsor to pay for your Deluxe Plan. Recruit a sponsor for $59.95 per year -- your school will get the Deluxe Plan and your sponsor will receive a (modest) sponsor's ad on your assignment pages. Recruit additional sponsors and half of all revenues will be directed to your school's fundraising unit. So, if you recruit a second sponsor at the rate of $59.95 per year, Homework Hero will send you $30.00 cash back! Additional customizations may be provided on a one-time fee for service basis.

How Do We Sign Up for the Deluxe Plan?

Of course we are happy to accept payments from anyone, but I will need to contact your school's site manager regarding the set-up of your school's Deluxe Plan pages. So, if you are interested in an upgrade, just e-mail us at Homework Hero. We will contact your site manager if necessary and work out all details. Once the plan is in place, we will send a bill to the appropriate party. Payment can be made by check or credit card.
